Yesterday, Karl Lagerfeld appropriately sent a slew of pastel-haired models down the ~~runway~~ the gardens of Versailles. What seems to be inspired by Marie Antoinette’s notorious closet (and that would make sense given the shows’ location), this Chanel Cruise collection was filled with pastel colors and a bunch of white dresses that, you guessed it, would make awesome wedding dresses for the avant-garde bride. While in my opinion, the collection was mediocre given Chanel’s awesome track record, I am loving all the looks below.

Best Dressed – MET Ball Edition!

Jeez, I love the MET Ball. I find the red carpet even more exciting than the Oscars’ primarily because people know they can wear whatever they want and (kind of) get away with (see: Florence Welch last night). Last night, every one was sparkling and had a bright smile on their faces as they attended the Prada-themed event which you know, costs them a pretty penny to attend.

And some notable mentions:

Emma stone looking absolutely beautiful in this custom made Lanvin dress. When Alber Elbaz is your date, I guess you can convince him to design a dress just for you.

Woah. Beyonce sure resurfaced on the red carpet with a bang. This hot mama (literally!) wore a stunning, outrageous Givenchy Haute Couture gown.

So, which was your favorite of the night? Or more importantly what would YOU wear to the MET Ball. I think I’d wear this.
