On A Bicycle Built For Two

Would you incorporate a bicycle into your wedding?   Used as decor, bikes can jazz up an engagement photo session, or would be really cute in a bridesmaid photo.

The bicycle is also a great exit strategy, post reception.

Personally, I would ditch the rented car, [change into something a little more comfortable], and opt for a tandem bicycle to ride away on!

If you were able to scrounge up enough bikes, you could have the entire bridal party ride away together.  Now that would be really fun. You’d probably want to unanimously break into Queen’s “Bicycle Race” song..  Let us know if you decide to do this- we’d love to see one of our own riding into the sunset, happily ever after!

Let’s Fly Away..

Ah, the honeymoon.  If you could choose one place to vacation in with your dreamy hubby, where would it be? A cottage in Ireland, or a villa in Crete?  Perhaps Paris, Thailand, or Rio de Janeiro?  As the owner of an incurable travel bug, I’ve scoured the web for locations that will make your heart swell:

Dar Malak, Marrakesh, Morocco:

Moroccan food, souks, and plenty of pillows for lounging at this 19th century riad.

Ballyvolane House, County Cork, Ireland:

Historic irish country house complete with Salmon fishing?  Yes, please!

W Hotel, Vieques, Puerto Rico:

Cocktails, hammocks, and a spa?  Sign me up- honeymoon or not.

La Torretta, Cinque Terre, Italy:

Indulge in seafood and walk the Via dell’Amore (path of love) in gorgeous Cinque Terre.

Now it’s your turn Lovelies. Where is your dream place to go on your honeymoon?

Memorial Day Drink! – BayBerry Breeze

Cold treat needed today? How’s about a favorite of mine, BayBerry Breeze?! My best friend since high school and I would always make this special drink for special get togethers. It’s sooo easy to make and just add a lime to finish it off! Sweet and fresh, my recipe for BayBerry Breeze is surely a winner and perfect for a day of celebration.

Enjoy Lovelies!

Breeze Cocktail/ Malibu Coconut Rum/ Cranberry Juice/ Pineapple Juice

Lovely Loves J.Crew Pajamas

There are two kinds of people in this world: the ones who sleep with pajamas, and those who sleep naked. I’m one of the former and boy, do I love a good pajama. You can imagine my excitement when I discovered J.Crew’s pajama collection not too long ago and absolutely fell in love. Now, I know what you’re thinking: $85 for a pajama…what what?! But hey, when you like to spend the majority of your weekend lounging around the house in nothing but your sleepwear, $85 might start to make sense. Plus how incredibly cute are they? Also, I can vouch for their softness which of course, increases with every wash. If I were you, I’d totally forgo getting your soon-to-be-wed friend even more lingerie than she’ll already get and gift her some of these cozies.

All looks courtesy of J.Crew.
