Brides have been asking when the SOFT collection by Rosa Clara will arrive and my dears, it is SOON! The beauty of these gowns stand stunning alone and need no introduction. Soft is a perfect word to describe these gowns, and is especially evident in the lovely “Ubeda.” But with this word soft, I wanted to convey the stunning angelic nature of the dress and not focused so much on styling but giving you an overall feel of what this dress can do for you, your venue, your whole wedding day. This is One Great Dress.

As we are having a Leanne Marshall Trunk Show this weekend at Lovely LA, I invite you to scroll down to see a modern and soft take on this shortie, as only Leanne Marshall can do best. Neons and moss green mixed with little touches of mocha to bring this stunning bridal gown back to the moment at hand; a new chapter of life with your honey. Flirty and fun with these pop colors, and then softened by a sweet vintage comb for a hair accessory. A neon yellow ring to give a little “hello gorgeous!” And the always popular green earrings to make any hair color look it’s best as they dangle from your ears. Without a doubt, this Leanne shortie is this week’s One Great Dress!

Lovely LA just received a new gown from the infamous Sarah Seven called “Golden Lace.” There are so many ways to style this dress! It works for anyone’s vision of their special day, but I chose something maybe a little out of the box. The boho sophisticate is charming yet edgy. She’s comfortable and sexy. She makes the crowd turn their head at how unique and classy a freedom fighter can be. “Golden Lace” has a low dramatic back, but keeps it sweet with the cap sleeves. And this dress is so light, it’s perfect for these summer months, leaving it’s bride effortlessly cool.
In styling, this natural waistline is happy to have a leather or woven belt around it. Keep up the sophistication and glam with metals. A gold crown of metal flowers is exquisite, or several delicate chains around the neck full of turquoise and ruby red stones works as well. You can still use the signature bride blush tones with these earthy colors, bringing in neutrals to tie it all into one cohesive look.
Remain true to both the bohemian freedom and sophisticated quality in your accessories and decor, and you’ve got your “boho sophisticate” in this week’s One Great Dress.
For makeup, use bold shadow on the eyes, but simple everywhere else. The hair can be big and full, little braids here and there. Or pull it back with lots of braids and twists into a low chignon. Shoes can be flats with beading or heels with studs.

One Great Dress this week is none other than the latest sexy siren from WToo, “Venus.” Fitted and lacy with a slit, “Venus” is light and has a train to give you that bridal feeling. Wouldn’t this dress look dreamy in the midst of a pear orchard? You can decorate the entire tablescape with those lime green colored pears and pair them with juicy blackberries for easy centerpieces. Salmon colored linens for the table will match your bridesmaid’s bouquets and flowers in your hair. I can just see your honey standing there at the altar with his crisp white button down rolled at the elbows adorned with this lime green bow tie. Maybe those sexy nerd glasses too.
And while we’re a little non-traditional here, your bridesmaids can have separates so they can wear the pieces again. And accenting everything with little gold touches will really make everything stand out. Your jewelry, your shoes, even sprinkling a little gold dust for good luck on your bouquet will be a nice detail. Bonus? “Venus” is available to see this weekend at Lovely LA and June 7-9 in New York. I might just have to try her on myself!
