It’s Thursday, and of course time for One Great Dress. This week was fun with styling Sarah Janks’ latest collection masterpiece, “Daphne.” It’s so sweet and feminine and I can totally see this beauty in a very elegant setting. However, as I like to take things the complete opposite way sometimes, I decided to style “Daphne” based off of her flower appliqués and go a little desert Boheme.
I see this beauty in the middle of the desert, or maybe just right outside Palm Springs, CA. Your bridesmaids can have some fun here, picking and choosing perhaps from their very own closets, no need to match, just be boho inspired. Be comfortable and wear some amazing leather ankle boots, with hair down and makeup natural. There’s something very attractive to this look, and makes the eye want more. This is just the beginning of the inspiration. And for a dress that’s not strapless…well, let’s just say Sarah Jank’s “Daphne” is and always will be One Great Dress.
Lucky for us, Sarah Janks trunk show is starting the make the rounds at Lovely locations, starting with us at Lovely LA! So excited to be the first the see this Australian designer’s newest collection!
I feel like you can just look at this dress and know it’s the one. If it is of course for you. There’s something about “Jacinda” from Watters that makes us go weak in the knees, and as in this photo here you see it with a mocha colored slip underneath which really makes the tulle and beaded bodice pop. So I’ve paired it with mocha and creamy pink accents to compliment this feature. You can also have an ivory slip if you like. The gown is extremely light and flowy and can be worn in many different venues. You just have to make it your own. In this case however, I would pair her with these accessories. Keeping me and my gown the centerpiece.

5.) Beaded Clutch
If you would like to see this beauty, and also happen to be in the LA area, Lovely LA is having a “Best of Watters” Trunk Show and “Jacinda” is definitely ready to be tried on by gorgeous brides! Check out to see if any appointments are open at here at Lovely LA and hope to see you soon!
As we gear up for the trunk show this weekend at Lovely LA, Lea-Ann Belter astounds us again with this week’s One Great Dress “Persephone.” Traditional in many ways, this light weight chiffon is sure to flow in the breeze outside, perhaps on the water? Think of a wedding on a sailboat, with your altar at the helm. Navy and white stripes, along with bright yellow calla lilies in your bouquet and strung around the edges of the boat intertwined with that nautical staple of rope. Then you could just sail away to your honeymoon! It’s simplistic and non-fussy, and “Persephone” is sure to make you feel the bride you are. Lea-Ann Belter does it best!

Absolutely stunning is this week’s One Great Dress. Seeing as we have a Lovely trunk show for the darling Hayley Paige in New York, it seemed fitting indeed to put forth a little posh for this beautiful gown, “Carrie.” Open jeweled back with layers upon layers of gorgeousness from a natural waist is very feminine, romantic, and as I see it, posh. Going with muted tones in grey and rose, and a little splash of chic black to complete the look, “Carrie” has quickly become one of my favorites.
