Real Wedding – Practically Perfect in Every Way

Lovely Bride Casey found her dream dress at Lovely LA, and we loved how she opted for a shorter version of her Sarah Seven dress for her reception! Gotta love these creative brides!

Tell us about THE dress and what inspired your look.

Sarah Seven dresses were on my radar from the very beginning of my dress search. I didn’t want anything too glitzy or over the top for our beach wedding. I wanted my style for the day to be simple, classic and breezy. The Practically Perfect dress was absolutely perfect!! It flowed in the wind and was the exact look I hoped for.

Following our reception dinner I decided I needed a short option to boogie in. I chose the powdered sugar because it was similar enough to my first dress, but just the right amount of fun! I definitely danced the night away!

What were the most important details to pulling off your dream wedding?

Music! We love live music and The Leatherbacks absolutely made our reception. We had a blast dancing and singing all night long. Our flower girl, Reagan, even played the bongos with the band. Also, getting married on the beach in Costa Rica wasn’t too shabby either!

What was the most memorable moment?

We decided to have a very small wedding of only 32 guests. I wouldn’t change that for the world! Andrew’s father performed the wedding ceremony. My brother, Tyler, played the guitar as I walked down the aisle. It was so amazing making our closest friends and family a part of the day.  It was so intimate and filled with love!

If you could give future brides any advice, what would it be?

Just remember what it is all about…you and your groom!! Don’t let outside influences or stress change that. If the flowers aren’t perfect, it doesn’t matter!! If you forget your something blue, it doesn’t matter!! What matters is that you are making a commitment to spend your life with the person you love.
