Today marks the first day of spring. I can’t tell you how happy this makes me because New York in the winter is obviously lovely but those last few days of winter really get the best of me. Everything seems grey and dreary. But it’s over, yay! Get ready to be bombarded with all things colorful and spring because today, I’m all about flowers, pastels and new beginnings!

This week an image of a vintage 1932 Chanel necklace sparked my interest in all things jeweled (see image 1 of Vintage Vixen). Lately at Lovely we’ve been having a lot of brides want to wear some bold, statement jewelry on their big day. Investing in a great necklace or bracelet is sure to make you the most coveted woman in the room. Not to mention the fact that jewelry pieces hold special sentimental value for years to come when they become heirlooms. Here are three different styles of bling to rock down the aisle.

It’s all about Chanel with 1 and 2, pieces from Coco’s 1932 collection.
Keeping with the Parisian theme, 3 The Chanel vintage bow cuff was worn by one of our favorite Lovely Ladies, Amanda of Untamed Petals!
4 The European cut engagement ring could be yours! Send your hubby over to Etsy!

2 DESIGNLOVEFEST found some blingin bracelets that still have a laid back vibe.

4 Catbird in Brooklyn always has the hippest finds.

1 Art Deco inspired engagement rings are always stunning.
2 Would be the perfect something Blue!
3 This cuff makes a bold statement.
4 These earrings would be perfectly paired with a sleek up-do.
5 Your dress is begging for this brooch.

Alright, I’ll admit it. After looking at white dresses day after day, a shocking pop of color takes my breath away. This orange gown mixed with the grey and dreary weather created such a splash. Plus how fierce is this couple?

Be sure to check out more images from this wedding on Green Wedding Shoes.
