This bride (and wedding) is so so incredibly chic! My favorite part of her whole look would have to be her unique and sleek french twist. Plus, how amazing is this photo? Ah, l’amour…

It’s chic, it’s glamorous, it’s oh so posh. This affluent part of town known for its upscale shops, stately homes, and well-to-do residents has inspired a wedding board fit for an heiress. We imagine her wearing an Oscar-worthy gown of glitz and sparkle, drinking champagne with her who’s-who guest list of 800, dancing in an opulent ballroom, and dining on the most decadent food. This classy Beverly Hills bride has sprinkled her soiree with bits of tradition, while throwing in some modern flair to make it all her own.

Is it just me or are there fruit-centric bouquets popping up left and right? It might just be me and my desire for New York to finally be warm with fresh fruit and flowers everywhere. Regardless, the mix of flowers and fruit is quite refreshing–literally and figuratively! While doing some research, I stumbled upon mostly citrus-based bouquets but also found the occasional berry-filled bouquet as well. I can just picture myself now reaching into my bouquet and sneaking a little bite of a raspberry in between family portraits. Sounds delicious.
Let’s talk about hair. Depending on what kind of dress I end up wearing, I’m either going to wear my hair up or down (obviously) but I’m not looking for a simple knot bun, I want something fun and dramatic–something I wouldn’t normally wear. After all, your wedding should be a fun day. One where you get to play dress up and try all those styles you’ve never had the chance of trying out before. I’ve been pulling my inspiration from magazine editorials because after all, sometimes it doesn’t get more dramatic than that.
A modern twist on a classic braid. With a more polished braid (or maybe a fishtail braid!), this do would turn heads. (Fashion Gone Rogue)
This bob is totally channeling Betty Draper. And c’mon, who does NOT want to channel Betty Draper? (Fashion Quaterly NZ)
Okay, you’re wearing couture on the beach and you just got out of the water and BAM! Your hair looks just like this. But it’s still perfect in the most unperfect way. Beach wedding, anyone? (Vogue Japan)
You really can’t go wrong with a good, thick finger wave. It’s so classic. And with a lip this red, you’ll be channeling your favorite old-time starlet. (All Women’s Talk)
Okay, this one is a bit crazy. I know. But how fabulous does it look? (Vogue Russia)
Ahh, the barrel curl which now inevitably reminds me of Lana Del Rey. Another classic look that is super polished and old-world looking. (You Inspire)
