Decor & Details – Hand Drawn Invitations
With ten months until my wedding, my next step is to figure out invitations. While everyone (aka my family!) is pushing me to go with a formal invite, I’m kind of leaning towards a hand drawn invitation. I love how personal they look. And the fact that I can do the initial design myself and then have the design printed.

Can I really be blamed for wanting such a cute invite?
My favorites are the 2nd & 3rd designs because they balance the casualness of handwriting with a more formal design structure. I think it’s the frames/borders that bring it all together!
Yeah, I feel the same. The fact that the borders were hand drawn as well is also so cool!
I love hand-drawn invitations. You’re right– they feel so much more personal, especially if you’re the one drawing them!
Like Laura touched on, maybe you can find a happy medium. Otherwise I’m all for saying it’s YOUR wedding!
