What’s Black, White, and Red all over? The Oscar’s are by far my favorite awards show of the year, and a very exciting night for fashion. Imagine my surprise when the most popular color choice of the night was Bridal White! There were also some black gowns that made a stunning contrast on the red carpet. Here are my favorite picks of the night!

Angelina Jolie has been killing it this year on the red carpet, and this black velvet Atelier Versace gown is my favorite so far.

Rooney Mara is in my mind the best dressed star of the year. I was most excited to see what she would be sporting on the red carpet, and she did not disappoint in this gown by Givenchy. Did I mention that she picked it the morning of the awards? Bravo my dear!
