Bridal Stylist: The Elements

In the past week, we here on the East Coast have experienced a slew of natural happenings–earthquakes and hurricanes. Eek! If there is anything we learned though, it’s that you cannot mess with Mother Nature! So why not pay homage to mother earth’s power by incorporating the four elements into your wedding?

Wear a terracotta necklace around your neck and opt for a fluffy cotton bouquet! Or perhaps place a crown of leaves around your locks and fasten a succulent boutineer onto your man. (Top left and clockwise: LAccentNou, Jen Lynne Photography, Styfull, Emily Blake Photography via Wedding Chicks)

Bring on the heat by paring your white dress with smoking hot heels and fire red lips. Add a touch of romance with twinkling candles and flowers that resemble the color of flames. Splash into an ombre cake the color of the sea and accessorize with a ring made of sea glass. Have your bridesmaids wear seafoam green dresses and decorate your place cards with some sea shells you found on your most recent trip to the beach. Add some fun to your decor with gigantic colorful balloons or perhaps fly away on a romantic hot air balloon ride. Let your hair blow in the wind and add some color to your wedding with some bright party flags. (Top left and clockwise: Erin Ever After, Green Wedding Shoes, Mel!nka Photgraphy, Oh Joy!)

  1. I love that cake, it’s amazing. The little thumbprint pain style to the frosting is just beautiful.
