We are so excited to intro a new blogger for Lovely….mostly because she’s an old dear FOL (friend of Lovely) who interned with us at the very beginning of our existence.  Who more perfect to talk about Lovely style than a gal who was part of making it all happen!  Meet Eli:

What do you love most about wedding planning:

EJ:  I love the fact that you start out with this “perfect vision” of how your wedding day is suppose to be. However, as the planning progresses (and after hours of research!) you learn about, let’s say, a new species of flowers that would go perfect with your decor. Or that specific shade of pink that you never knew existed. All these new elements, mixed with the elements of your “perfect vision” are put together to create a beautiful wedding day.

What is one tip you would give brides-to-be?

EJ:  Be original. Don’t be afraid to stray away from trends and traditions (if you want!) and make the wedding day about you and your guy. Trends will come and go but, if you stay true to your style, you’ll always look back at your big day with a smile. (That rhymes!)

What is your favorite new wedding trend?

EJ:  Definitely mismatched bridesmaids dresses! I love the way each dress is perfectly suited for each bridesmaid. as well as the originality and spontaneity it presents. As long as there is some sort of underlying theme, I think it works great.  Plus, who said everything has to match?

Isn’t she just the cutest girl you ever did saw?  Just you wait til 9am…the girl has skills!
