Sparks were flying last November when Shelley and Ryan wed at the lovely Vanlandingham Estate in Charlotte, North Carolina. The bride looked gorgeous in her Jessica McClintock gown, Lucy Parker Photography captured all of the not-to-be-missed moments, and the newlyweds exited through a line of 3-foot sparklers clutched by their smiling friends and family. Magical, no?
Lovely: Tell us about THE dress and what inspired your look.
Shelley: Just loved it at first sight…. AND it was only $200!!
Lovely: What were the most important details to pulling off your dream wedding?
Shelley: Keeping in mind what it was all about and why we were doing all that we were doing.
Lovely: What was the most memorable moment?
Shelley: The entire weekend was a blast, but our hands down favorite moment was our exit. Our photography, Lucy, is amazing and when you add a vintage Rolls Royce and 3 foot sparklers in the hands of everyone from ages 4 to 88, it was incredible!!
Lovely: If you could give future brides any advice, what would it be?
Shelley: My #1 advice would be slow down and enjoy it, but don’t overanalyze it, remember why you’re agonizing over all the details (you’re future hubby and the amazing love you share) and remember that that (the hubby and amazing love) is the only thing you should be obsessing over!
