We loved hearing all of your darling stories about the little ones you chose to as ring bearers for the big day! We wish we had enough prizes to outfit each and every one of them, but sadly, we can only have one lovely winner!
We know your little soccer-lover Cam is going to look so handsome in his new Nautica duds! Send an email to blog [at] lovelybride [dot] com to claim your prize.
Ruthie and Will’s October nuptials are just what the doctor ordered. Bold, colorful, and bursting with gorgeous blooms and unforgettable fashion, this lovely yellow and red wedding shot by the uber-talented Apryl Ann is the perfect antidote to the winter blues. This darling couple tied the knot with a sunset ceremony in Dallas and a detail-filled reception that is bound to illicit a few gasps from you lovelies. Enjoy!
We can’t stop starting at Ruthie’s gorgeous bouquet! The mini bird’s nest nestled amongst those stunnning, vibrant blooms is anything but garden variety!
Aren’t those cheery bridesmaids frocks delicious? We think that pairing them with bright red peep toe pumps was a fashion risk that paid off big time!

The only thing more lovely than this couple’s wedding day story – they married hand in hand and on their own in San Francisco – is the fashion-forward vintage dress the bride chose. The delicate lace contrasted with the dramatic overlay and the mini skirt against the high-neck makes this little number the perfect example of the phrase, “the best of both worlds.” Get swept away by this intimate wedding on Ruffled, with gorgeous images by Jerry Yoon Photography.

What do you love most about wedding planning: What I love most about wedding planning is the transformation of a simple space into a space filled with the personality and style of our clients. Style + Personality = Great event design.
One tip you would give brides to be: Hire a great photographer. You are about to embark on a special day and you want to remember every moment. If you choose the right person to capture those moments you will have a lifetime to cherish them.
What is your favorite new wedding trend: As you may have noticed in the fashion world, metallic is hot these days! Mixed metals, matte metals and textured metals are all very current looks that can be incorporated into your wedding reception design, through fabrics, accessories or even the furniture accessories.
Aisha has an eye for the unexpected and awe inspiring decor like this color palette concept. She has a real ‘think of of the box’ attitude when it comes to design, so check out her latest and greatest every Wednesday on the Lovely blog.

What do you love most about wedding planning: I love that weddings are truly a reflection of the bride and groom’s style as a couple. It is a day that their personalities can shine and be brought out in all of the little details of the wedding to be shared and cherished with loved ones.
One tip you would give brides-to-be: Pack a little bag for your wedding day full of ‘beauty essentials’ that one of your bridesmaids can stow away somewhere close by. Fill the bag with little items such as deodorant, some perfume, lip gloss, some tissues or wipes, and some shine powder for touch ups. You’ll be grateful for that little bag after you’ve been strutting your stuff and dancing all night!
What is your favorite new wedding trend: Hair accessories. There are SO many adorable clips, veils, nets, flowers, you name it and I’ve found that a simple hair accessory is a small way to add a touch of personal style to your look. And, of course, I love the makeup. Brides are wearing more subtle makeup looks these days and I think it is so important that you still look and feel like yourself on your wedding day—just the best version of yourself—and makeup is key to that! Lately, brides are keeping it simple and adding a pop of brightly colored lipstick or some sexy smokey eyes to vamp it up a little without being over the top.
Last but not least, check back tomorrow to meet our Editor of Wedding Decor.
