There’s something about wedding photos of couples and their attendants letting loose that we just can’t resist. Of course getting married is serious business, but your wedding day should still be a whole lot of fun. These three joyful images from photographers Jeremy Lawson, W. Scott Chester and Stonehouse Photo (Top to Bottom) recently caught our fancy. With such fun-loving couples, we’re sure these weddings must have been a blast. We only wish we’d been invited!
If you feast your eyes about an inch north of this post, you will see a new additional to our menu bar titled ‘Events’. We’ll be listing all of our upcoming events on that tab, so make sure you check back often!
First up is our Watters and Wine preview party to kick off our Watters trunk show. The trunk show will be held all weekend, July 9th-11th, but the party is a one time event, and all are welcome…brides, press, friends…just rsvp to firstname.lastname@example.org.
I’m always floored when I see the new Watters collections…they just keep getting better and better. These are our three favs from Fall 2010. What are your favorites?
A couple of weeks ago the cutest redhead came in with her man to find a fabulous fascinator for her upcoming wedding. As we tried on headpieces and played around with different hairstyles, I couldn’t help but notice her stunning sapphire ring. Turns out it was her fiancé’s design. Lucky lady! Ever since I haven’t been able to stop thinking about rings with a splash of blue. Naturally, I started perusing and discovered these mouthwatering baubles…

We are definitely like proud parents when we see our designers represented in other blogs. Wedding Chicks posted this wedding yesterday, and our very own Lea Ann Belter gown took center stage. The ‘Mathia’ dress is so chic…but we’ll tell you a secret…it’s also a little bit magic. This dress gives gals such an amazing hour glass figure that you can totally eat a cheeseburger at your rehearsal dinner and still look like a goddess. Lea Ann has mastered the perfect ruching technique on this dress that you have to see to believe! Check out more Mathia magic here.
We think you are allowed one other love affair other than your husband…and that is with your wedding dress. It is such a special relationship when you find the one, why wouldn’t you want to immortalize that love? Yes, you probably have gobs of photos from your wedding in all of your glory, but we love the idea of spending some one-on-one with your dress in a cool location and getting photos that pose as fine artwork. These pictures of Hunter, the designer of Hunter Dixon, feel like a dreamy cinderella story. Take time to have the photographer get the detail work of your dress and accessories. And remember how that dress made you feel, and express that in your photos. It may not be a picture that mom wants to hang on the mantle, but it will be your special gem that leaves a warm spot in your heart when you look at it.
We’ve been holding on to these gems since last year, and when LINDSEYBELLE Photography sent us Gina Xu’s cool photos yesterday, we decided to post her work as a double feature. You can really see the breath of Lindsey’s skills!
