A groom in glasses – Warby Parker
The other day, the fiancé and I were discussing whether or not he should wear his glasses for the wedding. Since he can see well enough without them we came to the conclusion that he shouldn’t wear them. We thought about eye glass styles from the 70s and 80s and how dated they looked, and figured twenty years from now the styles will change again and we didn’t want to look back and think “oh how 2010!”
But today, dailycandy introduced an amazing glasses company, Warby Parker, and I might just need to re-think things. These glasses are super cool and perhaps its worth capturing the styles of our time in our wedding pictures.
Or take inspiration from Lisa Loeb on her wedding and be a bride in glasses!

Amanda, I have to say I’m voting for Luke to wear his glasses. I think they are so handsome on him! I also think grooms deserve something brand new too for the wedding, so you guys should splurge on a new pair of geek-chic glasses for the big day!
I love the idea of wearing glasses. My fiance wears glasses and I think he will look extra cute wearing them for the wedding. I’m not worried about looking dated, I think dated photos look so wonderful, it gives them character
